K&V Homes: Giving Back to the Community

Throughout the year, K and V Homes actively supports a number of local charities including Habitat for Humanity, the Make-A-Wish Foundation, as well as the Professional Women in Building and the Homebuilders Association of Iowa scholarship programs.

Participating in numerous builds for Habitat For Humanity has helped several families achieve the dream of owning their own home, while at the same time, uniting with other professionals in the industry for a common goal.  K and  V Construction Services donates all usable materials from various jobs to the Habitat Restore as well.

Each year, donations are made to the Make-A-Wish Foundation to help grant the wishes of sick children.  In addition, K and V Homes actively supports the Jolly Holiday Lights display with all proceeds going to the granting of these wishes as well.  “We take a lot for granted with the health of our children and do everything we can to help the less fortunate.  Reading and listening to the testimonials of the children whose wishes were granted makes us all the more thankful that in times of need, a period of joy and happiness is able to experienced by these boys and girls.”

The Professional Women in Building, along with the Homebuilders Association of Iowa provide numerous scholarships for high school seniors as well as college students pursuing a degree in a construction related field.  By supporting these endeavors, K and V Homes helps ensure that these students will have financial assistance as they pursue their collegiate degree.
